The Social Studies Department purpose is to allow students to be able to:
Participate in American culture as active and informed citizens.
Travel the Information Highway with a sense of direction, purpose, and understanding.
Use information to compare, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate opinions & decisions.
Make informed judgments on life issues.
Express orally and in writing their ideas, proposals, recommendations, and assessments.
